Sydney Cardiology’s medical and technical support team includes leading cardiologists from all disciplines.

Our principal cardiologists include:

	Dr Stephen Fenton Dr Stephen Fenton has been a practising cardiologist since 1983 and specialises in general adult cardiology, angiography and echocardiography. His clinical interests include general adult cardiology, echocardiography and cardiac catheterisation.
	Dr James Wong Dr James Wong has been a practising cardiologist since 1985 after graduating with honours from the University of NSW in 1977. He specialises in general adult cardiology, angiography and heart failure and his clinical interests include coronary disease, hypertension and preventative cardiology.
	Dr Bill Petrellis Dr Bill Petrellis is a cardiac electrophysiologist and general adult cardiologist who specialises in arrhythmia management. He’s an expert in ablation of cardiac arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation and device implantation.
	Dr Athula Gunasekara Dr Athula Gunasekara specialises in general adult and interventional cardiology and is an expert in performing interventions via radial artery approach. He is renowned for rotational atherectomy and intervention of chronic total occlusions.
	Dr Jason Kaplan Dr Jason Kaplan specialises in general adult cardiology and echocardiography and his clinical interests include preventative cardiology, non-invasive cardiac imaging including cardiac ultrasound and cardiac CT, and sports cardiology.

Dr Dimitri Demetriou

Dr Dimitri Demetriou qualified as a specialist general physician in 1978 and has been a practising cardiologist since 1985. He specialises in general adult cardiology, general medicine, echocardiography and his clinical interests include non-invasive adult cardiology, preventative cardiology, echocardiography, hypertension, and general medicine.

Dr Ru-Dee Ting

Dr Ru-Dee Ting graduated with an MBBS from the University of Melbourne in 2002 and completed his cardiology training at RPA in Sydney in 2009.

Dr Fiona Foo

Dr Fiona Foo graduated from the University of Western Australia with honours in 2001, completed her internship in Royal Perth Hospital, and her adult internal medicine training at Concord Hospital, Sydney.
