Dr Fiona Foo

Dr Fiona Foo specialises in Interventional Cardiology and general adult cardiology.

After graduating from the University of Western Australia with honours in 2001, Dr Foo completed her internship in Royal Perth Hospital, and her adult internal medicine training at Concord Hospital, Sydney. She undertook Core Cardiology training at Fremantle Hospital, where she then commenced Interventional Cardiology. After a one year Interventional Cardiology Fellowship in the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute in Edmonton, Canada, she gained further valuable interventional experience at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital in Glasgow, Scotland. She returned to Australia in mid 2011.

• Dr Foo has extensive training and experience in acute and emergency cardiac conditions, coronary care, and complex interventional cases. She has also been actively involved in local, national and multinational research and educational activities at every stage.
• Dr Foo is a Member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.
• Dr Foo will be consulting in a number of Sydney Cardiology’s practices from early 2012.
