Dr James Wong

Dr James Wong has been a practising cardiologist since 1985 after graduating with honours from the University of NSW in 1977. He specialises in general adult cardiology, angiography and heart failure and his clinical interests include coronary disease, hypertension and preventative cardiology.

A regular speaker in educational seminars for doctors and the community, Dr Wong also mentors medical students and young doctors via the AMA mentor scheme, and has vast experience in adult clinical cardiology.

• Dr Wong is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand, and a Member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.
• He is a Visiting Medical Officer at the Sydney Adventist Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital, Lady Davidson Hospital, Macquarie University Hospital and Dalcross Adventist Hospital.
• Dr Wong, who’s also fluent in Cantonese, consults in Sydney Cardiology’s Castle Hill, Chatswood and Westmead practices.
