Dr Jason Kaplan 

Dr Jason Kaplan specialises in general adult cardiology and echocardiography and his clinical interests include preventative cardiology, non-invasive cardiac imaging including cardiac ultrasound and cardiac CT, and sports cardiology.

He graduated from the University of NSW with honours in 1999 and completed his residency and adult internal medicine training at St George and Prince of Wales Hospitals, and his adult cardiology training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

An accomplished general adult physician, Dr Kaplan completed additional training in general adult medicine and medical oncology prior to commencing his cardiology training.

• Dr Kaplan is a Member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.

• He is a Visiting Medical Officer at the Sydney Adventist Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital and Macquarie University Hospital. He was previously a Clinical Associate Lecturer in Medicine at the Universities of NSW and Sydney and continues to teach medical students and junior doctors through the University of Sydney.

• Dr Kaplan, who is also fluent in French, consults in Sydney Cardiology’s Blacktown, Castle Hill, Chatswood and City practices.
